About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, advised by Professor Hossein Mosallaei. My research focuses on time-varying photonic systems, particularly active and time-varying metasurfaces, photonic time crystals, and their interactions with classical and quantum light. I develop theoretical and computational approaches to investigate and control dynamic light–matter interactions, with applications in quantum photonics, optical modulation, and wavefront engineering.

My research has evolved from tunable metamaterial absorbers and the optical manipulation of nanoparticles to the study of time-modulated particles and metasurfaces, including their scattering properties and interactions with quantum emitters. My work combines electromagnetic modeling with analytical and computational techniques such as time-Floquet analysis, multipole methods, and open quantum-system dynamics.

My current research explores programmable quantum-light emission, electrically tunable photonic materials, and photonic time crystals. Across these directions, I am interested in how temporal modulation and engineered material responses can enable new ways to shape, steer, and control light.
